Thirteen FREE AUDIO TOURS of the Peak District moors are now available online at Moors For The Future.

 http://www.moorsforthefuture.org.uk/visiting-moors

The MP3 audio guides include poetry and history relating to each specific area of the Peak District moor, as well as downloadable route maps, written directions with details about length and grade, etc for each tour.

Areas include:
Bleaklow, Edale, Grindleford, Hathersage, Win Hill Voices (sound interesting!)

(Example - the Bleaklow trail is 10km/6miles - strenuous and should take about 3 hours 30 mins)

The pod scrolls 'rambling handbooks are based on a 2 year oral history project and include 'extracts from the original Sheffield Clarion Ramblers handbooks.  These new guides share the original ethos of rambling pioneer GHB Ward's original publications'

Advice on downloading the Audio Trails are shown on the site (below the list of guides).  You can download to your mobile phone or computer (and copy onto a CD if you want - but remember they're only for private use and are subject to copywriter!)

Why not visit the site and listen to them, even if you don't want to download them - they are very entertaining.
